Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Are Triad Jacks events for gay men only? We don’t care if you identify as gay, queer, bi, straight, or on the DL - we're all about pleasure, not orientation. All open-minded, pleasure-seeking men are welcome- we won't ask any questions about your orientation. If you're curious or interested but have never had any experiences with other men, Triad Jacks events are a great way to explore and enjoy! You'll need to be comfortable in a room full of horny, excited guys. You'll probably be approached, and it's up to you to decide whether you want to get physical or not, and to communicate that in a polite, friendly way. (Adapted by Montreal Jacks)

Q. What if someone that I'm not interested in tries to connect with me? Triad Jacks events are meant to be really relaxed and friendly with very little attitude. If guys approach you and you're not interested we ask that you be polite and just let them know that you're not interested. If you just want to watch, just say "thanks, but I just want to watch for a while". If you're playing with a guy or guys and someone else wants to join in and you're not interested just say "no thanks" (and a smile is nice). "No thanks" usually works just fine. As long as you're willing to be clear you shouldn't have any problems. (Adapted from Montreal Jacks)

Q. I really want to attend a Triad Jacks event, what happens if I run into someone I know. A. If you see them at a Triad Jacks event, then they're there for exactly the same reason you are; they want to get off. Remember; they can't dish dirt about you without letting people know that they were at the party too. Relax and enjoy! (Adapted from Philadelphia JACKS)

Q. Is it normal to be self-conscious about the size of my cock, my weight, my age or other physical attributes? A.Talking about penis size (as though we had any say in our genetic development) comes from a heteronormative standard of what a man is. We have no control over our penis size and it shouldn’t be used to make other feels inferior or as though they can't enjoy their penis as much as you. But we live in a culture that is constantly telling us that we aren't thin/tall/built/handsome/etc. enough - mostly to keep us insecure so we'll be good consumers who are easy to control. So - yes - sadly, it is perfectly normal to feel self-conscious about your appearance, but - Please! - don't let that keep you from joining us! We’re hoping that one of the great joys of the Triad Jacks experience is the diversity of the men who will attend, and if you keep your eyes open, we’re hoping you'll see that physical appearance has little to do with how much fun any one man has during the events. A positive, friendly, open attitude is the thing that's going to get you a great Triad Jacks experience - not a huge cock or six-pack abs. (Adapted Montreal Jacks)

Q. Where are Triad Jacks events held? A. Events are held throughout the Triad Region, in Greensboro, Winston-Salem and, Burlington. All Triad Jacks events are held at hotels, no not Motel 6, better than that. The exact location of Triad Jacks is communicated to event registrants and is expected to remain confidential, allowing for the utmost discretion for Triad Jacks and it's participants.

Q, Would you ever consider an event on a different day? Perhaps a Friday or Saturday? A. Weekends have some challenges. The room rates are typically higher, with the group still growing, events have yet to cover the total expenses. Additionally, your host has a full-time job that does require a lot of weekend work. I use my days off to make these events happen...using a rare weekend off to host an event, hmmmm.

Q. Can I bring toys? I like to use them while masturbating. A, Cock rings, ball stretchers and those sort of wearables are fine. What we can not allow are sharable devices like flashlights, cockbox, stroking sleeves, etc.

Q, Why was I asked to wash my hands when I checked in? I've been to other events and I wasn't asked to do that. A. Triad Jacks asks every one that participates to wash your hands before you touch someone else. Especially since you just took off your shoes. It's common courtesy and one more level of safety for our participants.
